Snow globes and ornaments are such a fun and charming way to bring a little winter wonderland into your home during the holidays.
I absolutely loved making one with a photo of my daughter, Lily, as a special keepsake.
I also made a few others that I know sheโll enjoy, like a Christmas ornament with duckies and a snow globe with a toy she loves!
With a little fake snow, some cute holiday accessories, and your little one’s favorite toys, you can make your own collection of unique snow globes!
In this post, Iโll show you my creations, and hopefully, theyโll spark some inspiration for your next craft session!
And, bonus: these snow globes are made without water, so thereโs no risk of spills!

Snow globe Ornament 1: A Keepsake with a Photo

For my first snow globe, I wanted something really specialโa keepsake featuring a wintery photo of Lily. Hereโs how I made it:
- I found a cute winter-themed photo of Lily, printed it out, and carefully cut it out.
- To keep it protected, I laminated the cutout and trimmed around it again.
- I folded the bottom a bit so I could stand it inside the ornament, just like you see in the picture.

- Behind her, I glued a tiny Christmas tree.
- I added a few spoons of fake snow into the ornamentโs bottom half, then placed the top half on.
- When you hold it upright, the snow settles beautifully around her, like a little snow drift!
And there you have itโan easy, personalized ornament thatโs perfect for the tree or as a display piece.
Snow globe Ornament 2: Tiny Duckies

Who doesnโt love duckies? This one is super simple!
- I poured a little blue glitter (to mimic water) into the bottom half of the ornament.
- Then, I placed a few tiny duckies on top.
- Snap the top half on and voilร !

Snow globe Ornament 3: Barbie

This one brings a little pink into the holiday season:
- I glued a mini Christmas tree to the bottom half of the ornament using a hot glue gun.
- Then, I added a tiny Barbie look-a-like in front of the tree.
- Sprinkle in some fake snow, attach the top half, and you have a really cute snowglobe for a Barbie fan ๐
Snow globe Ornament 4: Cute Little Bear

For this one, I went with a cute bear, a perfect addition to any winter scene!
- I glued a little bear figurine to the bottom half of the ornament using a hot glue gun, just like I did with the Barbie snow globe.
- I added some colorful little foam balls around the bear (because who doesnโt love a pop of color in their winter wonderland?).
- I sprinkled in some fake snow, snapped the top half on, and ready!
