Toddler snack ideas 1 year old

Snack time with a 1-year-old can be a real adventure. Whether you’re dealing with picky eaters or tiny tummies that just can’t wait for the next meal, Having easy and healthy snacks at home is so convenient!

My daughter, who is 17 months old as I write this, doesn’t really eat a traditional breakfast or lunch. She eats well but prefers to snack throughout the day instead of having three big meals.

At first, this drove me a bit crazy because I thought she should eat like other kids, with three full meals. But then I realized every child is different, so why not follow her lead?

When she’s hungry, I give her something to eat. Of course, I can’t give her “real snacks” all the time, so I provide easy, healthy options instead! Long story short, she now eats small amounts throughout the day, and that works just fine!

I’m always on the lookout for tasty, healthy little meals ”snacks”, and some are so obvious you might not even think of them!

In this post, I’ve listed a bunch of healthy snacks that your little one can enjoy as much as they want.

I’ve also included some healthy pre-packaged options that are perfect for when you’re on the go!

Here are 40 healthy snack ideas, including both pre-packaged and super-easy homemade options. Let’s dive in!
