We’re using simple materials to make adorable ladybugs, lucky four-leaf clovers, and bright sunshine prints—all with just a toilet paper roll. Ready to get crafty? Let’s jump in!
Supplies You’ll Need:
- 1 empty toilet paper rolls
- Scissors
- Red, green, yellow and black paint
- Watercolor paint
- A paintbrush
- Googly eyes
- Black marker
- White paper, cardstock, or watercolor paper
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Shape Your Stamps
Take your three toilet paper rolls and carefully shape them:
- Ladybug Stamp: Press the top of the roll into a heart shape—this will be the ladybug’s body.
- Clover Stamp: Shape another roll into a heart but with slightly sharper edges. You’ll use this stamp three times to form the clover.
- Sun Stamp: Leave the third roll in its natural round shape for a perfect sun!
2. Start Stamping!
- Ladybug: Dip the heart-shaped stamp into red paint and press it onto your paper. Once dry, use black paint to draw a line down the center, add spots, and googly eyes.
- Four-Leaf Clover: Dip the heart-shaped stamp into green paint. Stamp four hearts close together in a circular shape to create a clover. Add a little green stem with your paintbrush.
- Sun: Dip the round stamp into yellow paint and press it onto the paper. Once dry, use your paintbrush to add little rays around it for a sunny effect.
3. Add the Finishing Touches
Use watercolor paint to add extra details and make your artwork pop! The soft blending effect gives your craft a beautiful touch. Let everything dry completely before displaying your masterpiece.
This easy and fun toilet paper roll stamping craft is a great way to get creative with everyday materials. Give it a try, and don’t forget to share your little one’s masterpiece! Happy crafting!
